ZGC Geospatial Information & Technology Alliance Was Founded in Beijing, with Synertone Being an Executive Vice Chief

On January 10, 2015, the ZGC Geospatial Information & Technology Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was founded in Beijing and the first members' general meeting was successfully convened. This general meeting passed the name lists of the board of directors and the supervisory committee and the alliance's articles of association by means of voting and resolution, and finally decided to appoint CECT 54 as the executive chief while nine organizations including Synertone, China Telecom Satellite Communications Co., Ltd., CECT 15, and Publishing House of Electronics Industry (PHEI) as the executive vice chiefs.


After over 30 years of development, Chinese satellite application industry has achieved a rapid growth in both technologies and markets and is still growing. Satellite companies, carriers, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and institutions voluntarily found the ZGC Geospatial Information & Technology Alliance. Led by independent innovation, the Alliance takes the combination of the industry, study, and research as an opportunity to build a public service platform for coordinated development of satellite application, which has a great influence on further boosting the development of satellite application industry well and quickly. Through the Alliance, Synertone will efficiently combine resources from various parties to enhance the comprehensive information service capability of our country.
